The vault
Your authorized context, precisely maintained.
The vault is the foundation of Number One. It is an isolated, structured store of records that you have explicitly authorized. It is not a chat log, a document, or a database of AI inferences. It is your governed context.
Isolation and ownership
Each User has exactly one vault. No other User can access it. The vault is created when your account is activated and persists for the duration of your beta participation. You can export its contents or request deletion at any time.
One vault per User
Enforced at the database level. There is no mechanism for one User to access another User's vault.
Session-derived identity
Every vault operation derives your identity from your authenticated session. Your account ID is never taken from a request body.
Audit trail
Every operation on your vault — proposal, approval, rejection, commit, correction, export request — is logged with a timestamp and event type.
Record classes
Each record in your vault has a class that describes what kind of information it holds.
Verified fact
Something you have confirmed to be true. High confidence, verified status.
Working assumption
Something you are treating as true for now, pending verification. Medium confidence.
Decision
A choice you have made, with rationale and alternatives considered.
Correction
A record that supersedes an earlier record. References the original.
Evidence
Supporting material for a fact, assumption, or decision.
Outcome
The result of a decision or action, recorded after the fact.
Lesson
Something you have learned from an outcome or experience.
Preference
A stated preference about how Number One should work with you.
Image reference
A reference to an image, with description and context.
Privacy and data handling
Your vault content is stored on mynumberone.ai servers. It is not shared with any third party. It is not used to train AI models. It is not accessible to Number One staff except in the event of a support request you initiate.
In the current beta, encryption at rest has not been independently verified. This is listed as an incomplete system. A full security review is required before real tester data is stored at scale.
You can request a full export of your vault records at any time. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Both requests are processed manually in the current beta.
